The idea of San Isidro is to create a space for everyone, men and women, to be responsible and committed to a more just society. In addition to creating a library for active minds, we use football for active, healthy bodies – another way to create change. We go to the streets to convert ourselves, and them, in our space of struggle, sharing, to learn and to play.
Función del fútbol :
We have decided to go to the streets voluntarily against an arbitrarily established division between peoples. The street is our football pitch because it holds the dreams and happiness of many young people. Specifically, we use football because both men and women love it. In fact, our teams willingly play with at least one woman, such as during our first championship of street football. Football is not about running fast or kicking a shot, it is about a team where each member has different qualities and that together allow goals to happen. Football is sport, it is fun but it is also training for life.
Objetivos :
We only want to continue creating and supporting our society with a grain of salt. We seek to be a good example to be replicated in other neighborhoods or other parts of the world. We do not have any particular party affiliation – we only want to convert the collective dreams into reality. For this, we have idea sessions with the young people where they can bring suggestions forward despite their financial or educational limitations.
Resultados :
We have had great success as a cultural organization and as a sports organization. We have conducted our first marathon around San Isidro along with other charity races. We have hosted and attended many talks and debates regarding the natural environment, local development, and knowledge sharing with other programs. We coordinate with other associations for young people in Bolivia and in the world. In addition, we have visited many cultural sites of interest close to Santa Cruz with the young people, and yes, we play a lot of football.
Experiencia exitosa :
We have developed a comfortable space for everyone to share their dreams, where we can speak with passion and love. We will awake the community for the better, and we understand that you do not need to be a famous football player, or to make a huge sum of money to make a difference. We see kids enjoy the simple opportunities, like with football.

Administración :
We have a volunteer staff. We like to say that we are dreamers with our feet on the ground, and so we are happy to work. The boys and the girls come voluntarily and we instruct, share, and play with them voluntarily.
